With the spread of COVID-19, many organizations and businesses throughout Lexington are trying to do some good for others affected most. Like partnering with a local restaurant chain to bring food to health care workers and first responders.

Drake’s, a restaurant part of the Bluegrass Hospitality Group, has partnered with a few companies this past month to bring food to those on the front lines.

Keene Trace Golf Club and Drake’s brought lunch to 100 members of the Jessamine County Fire and Police Department.

Brett Construction and Drake’s provided 220 doctors and nurses lunch at Lexington Clinic.

Commonwealth Economics and Drake’s provided lunch for 225 members of the UK Covid Unit.

No matter the size or the gesture, anything done to help first responders and those directly in contact with this virus is appreciated. #TeamKentucky
